This documentary is part of a larger theme to inform Americans of all of the influences and technology that were invented by the Muslim world. That theme includes an exhibit entitled “1001 Inventions” on the third floor of the museum. The film is also being shown in 35 other countries around the world. Both the film and the exhibit are worth attending, but moreover, worth pondering during this current geo-political era and the ignorance most Americans have regarding Arabs, Muslims, Islam and the peoples attached to those words.
