A cluster of hills above Visoko, Bosnia, gives this film its subject: three rises that Sam Osmanagic renamed the Pyramid of the Sun, the Pyramid of the Moon, and the Pyramid of the Dragon, arguing they are the largest pyramids on Earth and older than Egypt's. Osmanagic narrates his own case, walking excavation trenches worked by volunteers from dozens of countries and pointing to the Sun hill's height, which he says exceeds Giza's Great Pyramid. He goes further than shape and size, presenting claims from researchers he calls independent that the structures function as energy sources affecting water, food, and human health. The film does not include the mainstream archaeologists who have examined the same slopes and found ordinary geological formations, sandstone and conglomerate shaped by natural erosion, with no dated evidence of construction or habitation from the era Osmanagic proposes. What remains is one man's account of a discovery he considers proven, built on his own research and belief rather than an independent case for it.
