Lomography began as a cult around one camera, the Lomo LC-A, a small Soviet-designed point-and-shoot known for saturated colors, vignetting, and light leaks that most photographers were trained to avoid. This seven-part series follows the movement built around those flaws: the Lomographic Society's Ten Golden Rules, which tell shooters to carry the camera everywhere, shoot from the hip, and not think too hard before pressing the shutter. It traces how a cheap, mass-produced camera from the 1980s got reinvented in the 1990s as an anti-technical art form, and how that idea grew into a global community trading prints and techniques rather than pursuing sharp focus or correct exposure. The film treats snapshot photography as a discipline with its own logic: embrace accidents, shoot fast, worry about the picture later. It is less concerned with famous images than with the culture and rules that produced them.
