A rice farmer's day unfolds from field to table, filmed without narration or music, just the sounds of water, animals, and manual labor. The film follows the full cycle of the work: preparing and planting the paddies, tending the animals that share the farm, and the small closed-loop system in which rice feeds fish that are later caught and cooked for the household's own dinner. Every task gets shown in real time and at close range, from the physical labor of working the fields to the quieter chores around the farm, so the process reads as repetitive and demanding rather than picturesque. No interviews or captions interrupt the observation; the camera simply stays with the farmer as the day passes from one task to the next. The result is a plain, unhurried record of subsistence agriculture, useful as a document of how rice actually gets from paddy to plate.
