Rihanna narrates her own behind-the-scenes footage from the making of her album 'Talk That Talk', shot in the run-up to its release. The camera follows her through a photo shoot for the album's artwork, where she talks through the visual concept with her creative team, then to Barbados, her home island, where she meets fans on the street and talks about what fed into the new songs. She tells one group of fans, "Talk That Talk is where it begins to get interesting," a line that doubles as the closest thing the footage has to a thesis. The back half moves to the road, catching the final show of her LOUD Tour, with backstage shots of her joking with her crew before walking out to perform. There is no narrator and no outside interviews, just Rihanna and a handheld camera crew trailing her between the studio, the island, and the stage. It plays as promotional material for the album rather than a constructed film, but the Barbados scenes and the tour's last night are genuine, unscripted moments.
