An independent narrated film that tries to lay out, in plain terms, what science and philosophy actually know about the universe and about being human, stripped of religious and cultural assumptions. It moves through cosmology, evolution, neuroscience, and psychology, using diagrams, archival clips, and a steady narrator's voice rather than talking-head interviews, building an argument piece by piece about how perception, belief, and social conditioning shape what people take to be reality. The film treats consciousness and selfhood as problems to be examined rather than mysteries to be left alone, asking how much of what a person calls "me" is inherited biology versus imposed culture. It is part of a longer project by the same makers examining society and human behavior, but stands as a self-contained argument about the gap between the world as commonly assumed and the world as evidence describes it. The tone is didactic and earnest throughout, closer to an illustrated essay than a conventional character-driven documentary.
