The film also carries a disclaimer from its own makers: the EMWF uses the word "midget" in its name and branding, but the filmmakers do not endorse the term, noting that it is widely considered a slur and that "little people" is the accepted alternative. That tension, between the subjects' chosen language and the crew's discomfort with it, sits over the whole film as much as the wrestling does.
