Historians walk the surviving terraces, bunkers, and foundations of the Berghof and the surrounding Nazi compound, tracing how a quiet alpine village became the backdrop for state visits, propaganda photography, and Hitler's private conferences with generals and foreign leaders. Archival footage and photographs show the compound in its operational years, including the tea house on the Kehlstein and the elaborate tunnel network built beneath the mountain for the Nazi elite.
