Organ Harvesting Documentary – Between Life and Death – Wins Hugo AwardNTD Television won a Certificate of Merit in the 2011 Hugo Television Awards for an episode of the popular documentary series Zooming In. The episode, Between Life and Death, discusses the history of forced organ harvesting in China, right back to the perhaps the first documented account in 1975. The program shows how huge profits have driven Chinese authorities to execute prisoners and prisoners of conscience to supply China’s thriving organ trade.
