Moped gangs have turned parts of London into a running battle over stolen phones, bags, and bikes, and this film gets undercover access to both sides of that fight. Riders filmed on their own cameras explain what draws them into snatch crews and how they dodge capture, while the Metropolitan Police's Operation Venice task force shows its countermeasures, including 'controlled tactical contact,' where a patrol car deliberately knocks a fleeing rider off the bike. A third element complicates the picture: vigilante groups who patrol neighborhoods to intimidate the gangs directly, raising the question of whether they are actually helping police or getting in the way. The film builds its account from self-shot gang footage, crew-filmed actuality, archive material, and police camera footage, moving between courtrooms, patrol cars, and the gangs themselves. The result is a street-level view of a crime wave that has spread well beyond central London, told without a single easy villain or hero.
