Cameras move through former industrial harbors now used for swimming, warehouses where lettuce grows indoors under LED light, and design studios turning fabric scraps into new clothing lines. City architect Camilla van Deurs explains the planning philosophy behind livable, low-carbon neighborhoods, while architect Bjarke Ingels describes his approach as 'hedonistic sustainability,' the idea that environmental design should also make life more pleasurable, not less.
