Thirty people sit down separately to answer two questions: what is the meaning of life, and what is happiness. The Brazilian film gathers spiritual leaders, intellectuals, artists, and professional athletes, cutting between their answers rather than following any single figure, so a monk's take on presence sits next to an athlete's take on discipline. The interviews stay mostly in medium shot, talking heads with little else competing for attention, and the film leans on what people say rather than on visuals to carry it. Topics move from solitude and interconnectedness to concrete daily practices like meditation and journaling, offered as things the interviewees actually do rather than abstract advice. The project outgrew the film itself: after release it spawned a companion book through the publisher Sextante, built from interview material that did not make the final cut, and a soundtrack that circulated separately on streaming platforms. The film's case is that self-knowledge is not a private project but a subject thirty very different people keep arriving at from different directions.
