Every year thousands of men arrive at the French Foreign Legion's barracks in Aubagne hoping to join one of the world's most storied military units, and only about 1,600 make it through. This film follows three of them: David del Solar de la Sotta from Chile, Alan Gracin from Croatia, and Adrien Macquart from France, as they move through a selection process built to strip away pretense.
