Nigeria is one of the youngest and fastest growing countries on earth, with half its population under 19 and two-thirds of young people unemployed or underemployed. This episode of the Founders Valley series follows startups and entrepreneurs trying to change that math. Filmmakers Thomas Lemmer and Flourish Chuckwurah visit education initiatives, online platforms, and community-based investment schemes built to give young Nigerians options beyond simply repeating their parents' trade. Interviews with founders and the young people they employ or train show the gap between ambition and opportunity up close, from families stuck in cycles of poverty to entrepreneurs betting that local talent, not aid, is the country's real resource. The film treats Nigeria's youth boom as both a warning and an opening: a workforce this large will either become a driving force for Africa's economy or a source of deepening instability. It closes the three-part Founders Valley series without pretending the outcome is settled.
