Lebanon's economic collapse has stripped away electricity, fuel, and reliable healthcare, and against that backdrop tattoo artist Joa Antoun offers a different kind of care: free tattoos for women who have had mastectomies after breast cancer. The film follows her studio work as she turns scar tissue into flowers, geometric patterns, and other designs chosen by each survivor, reframing bodies that surgery and illness have marked. Interviews with the women describe what stigma tattoos still carry in the region and what it means to choose a design for a scar rather than hide it. Antoun talks through her process and why she started doing this work specifically as the country's crisis made basic medical aftercare harder to get. The film stays close to individual stories rather than statistics, using the studio sessions themselves as the main record of how the survivors talk about their bodies before and after the needle.
