Commercial divers from the Baltic Sea Divers crew take on two jobs that could not be more different. At the offshore wind research platform Feno 2, a diver works through a high-precision inspection, checking structural components in cold, current-heavy water where a small mistake in reporting could mean costly repairs later. The second job drops the crew into the murky, cluttered harbor at Vulgast shipyard for a scrap removal operation, feeling around blind through silt and debris for metal that needs to come up before it becomes a hazard. The film follows the divers' own point of view, cutting between surface support teams monitoring air and communications and helmet-cam footage from inside the water, where visibility can drop to almost nothing. Interviews with the crew fill in what the cameras cannot show: the risk calculus behind entering a shipyard harbor, the discipline required for an inspection dive where accuracy matters more than speed, and what keeps them going back into water where they cannot see their own hands.
