Berlin holds one of Germany's largest unhoused populations, with estimates putting more than 50,000 people in the city without permanent housing and around 6,000 living permanently outdoors. The film follows three men navigating that reality. Bülent sells street newspapers six days a week outside a shopping center in Moabit; without valid papers, he cannot claim social benefits and depends on donations and sales, his belongings fitting into a single rucksack. Manni has lived for years in a tent at Helmholtzplatz in Prenzlauer Berg, repeatedly forced out by city officials only to return. Daniel, evicted from his apartment six years ago, now lives in subsidized temporary housing and works as an activist against homelessness. Cameras follow the three through daily routines, catching moments of donated food and conversation alongside indifference from passersby. The film draws out how poverty, missing paperwork, addiction, and eviction can each lead to the same street corner, while showing how differently three Berliners have responded to it.
