How Deep-Sea Divers Recover Sunken Wrecks From The Ocean Floor
Baltic Sea Divers take on two jobs that show what commercial salvage work actually looks like underwater. The main mission is raising the sunken fishing cutter Verner Order from the seabed, a job that means working blind in murky water, rigging lift bags and cables to a wreck without collapsing it, and fighting current the whole way up. A second job sends divers down to inspect and repair a ferry's propeller drive, working in the tight, dangerous space around a vessel's running gear while it stays out of service. The film follows the crew through planning, gear checks, and the dives themselves, with cameras capturing the low-visibility conditions and the physical strain of working at depth. It is an episode of the series Heroes of the Deep, built around the practical mechanics of salvage rather than narration-heavy history: how a team decides where to attach lines, what happens when something does not go to plan, and what it takes to bring a sunken boat back to the surface intact.
