Children's show host Tobi Krell notices a hardening of public life worldwide, people treating each other with aggression and hostile stereotypes, and sets out to find people who have actually broken that cycle. In Sarajevo he talks with Adnan, a war veteran still working out how to dismantle the ethnic stereotypes that survived the Bosnian War three decades on. In Canada he meets Lauren, who joined a far-right group as a teenager, and her mother, who explain how they kept their relationship intact through it and what that bond had to do with her eventually leaving. In Monterrey, Mexico, Anni describes growing up around domestic violence and the work of tracing her own conflict habits back to that upbringing. The film moves between these three settings rather than building a single argument, using interviews and on-location footage to let each person describe their own path out of hatred. It stays with personal testimony throughout, treating reconciliation as something built case by case rather than solved.
