This film traces the manhunt that followed his rise, from the cartel's bombings and assassinations that terrorized Colombia to the joint Colombian-American task force assembled to bring him down. Archival news footage and interviews reconstruct the violence Escobar's empire unleashed on judges, police, and politicians, and the escalating pressure that pushed him into hiding after his surrender and escape from the La Catedral prison he built for himself.
