A John Deere T670 combine harvester starts as flat steel sheets and ends up a machine tall enough to dwarf the workers assembling it, and this film follows that whole process floor by floor. Cameras track the plate steel through cutting and welding stations where the harvester's frame takes shape, then move to the engine line and the construction of the driver's cab, where controls, glass, and climate systems get fitted before it ever meets the chassis. Workers explain the tolerances involved in fitting components built to survive years of harvest-season vibration and dust, and the film shows the separator and threshing mechanisms being built and tested before final assembly. The pacing is methodical, moving through each subsystem in turn rather than jumping around, and the factory floor footage does the explaining with narration mostly filling in what a shot alone can't show. By the end a stack of raw steel has become a machine that can process acres of grain in a day.
