Anthony Rosner returns to the subject of his earlier film "IRL - In Real Life" with a shorter, more personal follow-up about video game habits and the struggle to keep them in check. Rosner again writes, directs, shoots, and edits the piece himself, framing it explicitly as a continuation of his own story rather than a general survey of gaming culture. The film stays close to his perspective, tracing what changed for him since the first film and what moderation actually looks like day to day, rather than presenting expert interviews or outside case studies. Motion graphics from Dave Novis break up the live footage, and the score draws on tracks from Blizzard Entertainment and producer Rameses B, giving the film a soundscape pulled partly from gaming itself. It is a small, first-person coda more than an investigation, aimed at viewers who already know the original and want to see where its story went next.
