Las Vegas: The Shady Life in America's Most Sinful City
Behind the neon of the Strip, Las Vegas is home to 1.3 million people who never see a hotel comp or a high-roller suite. This two-part series follows host Trevor as he tracks down residents living in the gaps between the tourist economy: poker players grinding for a living, workers scraping by on service-industry wages, and others who arrived chasing the city's promise of reinvention and found something harder instead. The episodes move through neighborhoods far from the casino floor, letting the people who actually live there describe what draws newcomers in and what keeps some of them stuck. Poker rooms, cheap motels, and the informal economy that keeps a 24-hour city running all get screen time alongside stories of genuine success built against the odds. The series treats Las Vegas less as a spectacle than as an ordinary American city with an extraordinary industry sitting on top of it, and lets its residents explain the difference between the two.
