Even the most ordinary person can have an extraordinary impression on others. This is the underlying theme of Chad Kremer’s first film Little Thumb. This documentary looks at the life of Frank Wybenga, a Dutch citzen, who escaped his dark past at a Nazi labor camp by immigrating to the United States with his wife and infant son. In 2006, seven years after his death, Frank’s eldest son and grandson journey back to the netherlands to revisit his past in an attempt to brink some closure to their own.
