The second follows girls and young women at a Moscow cadet school where math and marching drills sit alongside loyalty to the state, asking what the program is actually training them for. The third turns to Russians who reject Putin's government, tracing the risks they take just by saying so out loud, from social isolation to real legal danger. Interviews with students, cadets, and dissenters carry each segment, with handheld footage inside the fake restaurant, the school gymnasium, and private apartments where critics speak more freely than they could in public. Taken together the three pieces work as a portrait of a country adjusting to isolation from three very different angles: commerce, youth indoctrination, and dissent.
