Two portraits of workers who risk their lives for other people's buildings and movies. In Singapore, tower crane operators climb hundreds of meters above the city to spend ten-hour shifts inside a cabin that never stops swaying, guiding steel and concrete into place on skyscrapers under construction, because vertical growth is the only option left in a crowded city. The film follows the operators through their daily climb, their isolation at height, and the split-second judgment calls that keep a load from swinging into a crew below. The second half moves to India's film industry, where stuntmen perform car crashes, fights, and falls take after take with minimal safety nets and even less recognition, while actors and directors take the credit. Several of the men interviewed describe injuries they have already sustained and the ones they expect eventually. Shot on location with the workers themselves narrating their own routines, the film treats both jobs as the same story: skill and nerve traded for wages that rarely match the danger.
