Richie Hawtin spends the summer of 2012 crossing time zones, playing arena-scale festival stages one night and his own weekly ENTER. residency at Space Ibiza the next. Polish video artist Barbara Klein, who has shot Hawtin's photo and video work for three years, follows him with a handheld camera that stays close through soundchecks, hotel rooms, and the crush of the crowd at the decks. The film shows the mechanics of the job rather than narrating it: gear cases wheeled through airports, headphones cued between tracks, the repetitive choreography of a DJ who has built his reputation on minimal techno and constant touring rather than a settled home base. Klein's footage moves between the stage lights and quieter backstage moments where Hawtin talks about the schedule itself, the miles, the sameness of dressing rooms, and what keeps him doing it anyway. There is no outside narrator and no talking-head experts, just Hawtin and the camera that has been with him for three years, tracking one touring season from the inside.
