The film follows the scientists who turned Ötzi from a curiosity into a cold case: an arrowhead lodged in his shoulder, a deep cut on his hand, and blood traces from four other people found on his gear and weapons, evidence that points to a fight and a fatal chase rather than a peaceful death on the mountain. Researchers reconstruct his last days from pollen in his intestines and wear patterns on his clothing, building a picture of where he traveled and who he might have crossed.
