Adam Pacitti, a comedian with no wrestling background, gives himself one month to train for a professional match. The film follows that training block as he learns the physical basics of the sport, the falls, the grappling, the choreography that makes a fight look real without breaking anyone, ahead of a specific date: a ten-man, over-the-top-rope rumble at Bournemouth's Pavilion Theatre in front of a sold-out crowd. There's no ringside legend or veteran promoter driving the plot here, just Pacitti's own account of turning an outsider's curiosity about wrestling into something he has to actually perform. The stakes are narrow and personal rather than historical: can a month of training be enough? The film stays close to that question and to Pacitti's day-to-day progress, letting the rumble itself serve as the payoff the whole shoot has been building toward.
