Queen: Days of Our Lives

EN · STATUS: [ STREAMING ]

Brian May, Roger Taylor, and the surviving members of Queen sit for extended interviews, tracing the band from its art-school origins through the stadium years to Freddie Mercury's death in 1991. Archival concert footage runs alongside home movies and studio outtakes, including sessions for "Bohemian Rhapsody" and the band's Live Aid set at Wembley, widely credited as one of the great festival performances of the era. The film follows the internal friction that shaped the music, from arguments over singles to the pressure of following up A Night at the Opera, and lets the band members describe Mercury directly rather than through outside commentators. Producers, managers, and collaborators fill in the business side, including the record deals and touring decisions that nearly broke the group apart in the late 1970s. Mercury's diagnosis and final years are handled through the band's own account of watching him keep working. The result is a plain, chronological account built on the people who were actually there.
