A team of scientists and self-described eco-guardians travels into Scoresby Sund, the enormous fjord system on Greenland's east coast, to document one of the least-visited corners of the Arctic. The expedition splits its time between diving beneath the ice, climbing rock faces above the water, caving, and sailing through channels choked with drifting icebergs, with each activity framed as a way of studying the fjord without leaving a mark on it. Footage moves between wide shots of the ice-and-water landscape and close-in sequences of the team at work, whether that's rigging climbing gear on a cliff or surfacing from a cold-water dive. Along the way the film gives a sense of scale: Scoresby Sund is the largest fjord system in the world, and the isolation shows in how little human activity appears anywhere in frame. The team's stated goal is conservation-minded observation rather than extraction or collection, and the film treats Greenland's remoteness itself as the main subject, an expanse that has stayed largely unchanged because almost no one goes there.
