Dean Radin, Roger Nelson, Robert Jahn, Brenda Dunne, Larry Dossey, and Rupert Sheldrake make the case, across two parts, that consciousness does not stop at the skull. Nelson explains the Global Consciousness Project, a network of random-number generators around the world that researchers claim shift measurably during events like September 11 or a papal death. Jahn and Dunne describe decades of experiments run at Princeton's PEAR laboratory testing whether human intention can bias machine output. Dossey, a physician, argues for distance healing and shared awareness between patients and practitioners, while Sheldrake lays out his morphic resonance theory, the idea that memory and pattern can propagate through fields rather than brains alone. The film presents these researchers' data and interpretations as evidence for an 'extended mind' reaching beyond the individual into other people, objects, and the wider environment. It stays within the parapsychology research community's own framing throughout, offering their experiments and conclusions rather than outside scrutiny of them.
