Palestinian youth in the West Bank's largest refugee camp are the focus here, as VICE tries to find out whether the Palestinian Authority's stated commitment to non-violent resistance actually holds among the people living under occupation. The crew moves between hunger strikers pursuing peaceful protest and self-described jihadists who have chosen armed confrontation, letting both sides make their case on camera. Scenes range from young men spray-painting slogans on camp walls to standoffs with Israeli soldiers in the streets, with interviews that lay out why individuals pick one tactic over another. The film also spends time in Ramallah, contrasting the camp's harder edges with the more visible, organized political life of the city. Rather than settling on a single verdict about what resistance means, it tracks the argument as it plays out inside Palestinian society itself, between those betting on strikes and negotiation and those who have given up on both.
