Running nearly five hours, the film works through the day's familiar flashpoints: the Twin Towers' collapse, the strike on the Pentagon, and Flight 93's crash in Pennsylvania, pairing news footage and government statements with interviews and testimony from researchers who dispute the official 9/11 Commission account. Mazzucco built the film for free circulation, encouraging duplication of the DVD set and releasing Italian and French versions alongside the English original. It offers no new physical evidence, working instead by re-reading the public record and official statements for inconsistencies, and it assumes viewers already doubt the government's account rather than building that doubt from scratch.
