Four travel documentary episodes from the Somewhere on Earth series, bundled into one sitting. The first stop is Fiji, an archipelago of more than 300 islands in the Pacific where only about a hundred are inhabited, with footage of coral reefs, village life, and remote atolls. From there the crew moves to Laos, once known as the land of a million elephants, tracing rivers and highland villages before landing in Cambodia to walk through the country's temple complexes, including the largest religious monument on earth. The final segment travels to Ladakh, the high-altitude region on the Indian side of the Himalayas often called Little Tibet, following monasteries, mountain passes, and local herders through a landscape shaped by extreme altitude. Each episode runs on its own as a self-contained portrait of a place, built from location footage and narration rather than interviews or archival material, with the camera doing most of the storytelling as it moves from beaches to jungle temples to Himalayan plateaus.
