Rajasthan unfolds through three lives shaped by its desert and its history. Pabu, born among the Bhils of the Thar Desert, has spent his years working to improve conditions for the community once branded Untouchable, staying on the same steppes he grew up in. Geraldine, a Frenchwoman from Normandy who previously rode through the US and Australia, now navigates New Delhi and the roads of Rajasthan on her motorcycle, describing how the country has reshaped her daily life. Ajeet, a 32-year-old Rajput horseman continuing eight generations of family tradition, works to save the Marwari horse, the breed of Rajasthan's warrior caste that nearly disappeared. The film moves between the arid plains bordering the Thar, the mountains that ring them, and the towns where Maharaja-era history still shapes daily custom. Rather than a single narrative thread, it follows these three separate paths through the same land, letting each person's work and routine stand in for a different piece of Rajasthan's identity.
