This documentary tells the story of the Sud Aviation Caravelle, the western world’s first medium/short haul twin jet airliner and the first anywhere to have its engines mounted on the rear fuselage. The documentary sheds lights on early french and british cooperation and busts the myth about the Caravelle having a Comet nose section. The second half of the documentary is about the story of one man’s passion to restore the cockpit of one of the most iconic and elegant aircraft to full flight simulator status.
