The three-part documentary “The Code” is much more than a series about the role math plays in our world. It’s an interactive game, an engaging treasure hunt that includes hidden clues in each episode as well as an assortment of online games. The goal? To expand participants’ understanding of basic principles of math. In the series, Oxford University professor of mathematics Marcus du Sautoy takes a stab at this as well, exploring how the natural world conforms to and can be explained by mathematical codes.
