Sperm counts across the industrialized world have been falling for decades, and this film asks what is driving the decline, along with rising rates of genital deformities and testicular cancer in boys and young men. Researchers and physicians trace the pattern to hormone-mimicking chemicals absorbed into daily life: phthalates in shampoo, bisphenol-A in baby bottles, flame retardants in carpet, and residues carried through meat and dairy. The film connects these chemical exposures to changes beyond the reproductive system, pointing to increased diagnoses of ADHD, autism, and dyslexia as possible downstream effects of the same disruption in early development. Scientists interviewed lay out how these compounds interfere with estrogen and testosterone signaling in the womb and in childhood, altering development in ways that show up years later. The film moves between laboratories, industry-made products found in ordinary households, and the clinical data on falling fertility, building a case that the male body is being reshaped by substances nobody chose to be exposed to.
