Modi'in and Ni'lin sit only a few miles apart in the West Bank, close enough to share weather but divided by the separation wall, and this film follows one teenager from each side. Moshe grows up in the Israeli city of Modi'in; Ahmed grows up in the Palestinian village of Ni'lin, where his community's land disputes have put it at the center of protests against the wall. The camera stays close to both boys as they go through school, family life, and the ordinary friction of adolescence, letting the political situation surface through their daily routines rather than through commentary or archival footage. Interviews with each teenager and the people around them carry the film, tracking how proximity and separation shape two lives that might otherwise look similar. The film does not resolve the conflict dividing them; it simply places Ahmed's and Moshe's stories side by side and lets the distance between two nearby towns do the rest of the talking.
