The film's centerpiece is Bichlbaum's appearance on BBC World News as a Dow Chemical representative, announcing on the twentieth anniversary of the Bhopal disaster that Dow will finally compensate victims and clean up the site, a hoax that sends Dow's stock briefly tumbling before the network retracts it. Elsewhere the duo pitch a private company selling reprocessed human waste as a food source at a trade conference, unveil an inflatable survivorball meant to let the rich ride out climate disasters, and pose as Halliburton engineers marketing a device that turns catastrophe into profit. Hidden cameras and real audience reactions carry each stunt, followed by the fallout on cable news and in the press. The film uses their impersonations to argue that the line between satire and actual corporate behavior is thinner than anyone wants to admit.
