Michio Kaku travels the world asking the researchers actually building tomorrow's technology what they expect to see in their own lifetimes. The three-part series moves through robotics labs, genetics institutes, and space agencies, watching prototype exoskeletons help paralyzed patients walk again and talking to engineers designing chips that may one day merge computing with the human brain. Kaku frames each episode around a big question, one on technology and daily life, one on medicine and the body, one on space and humanity's future beyond Earth, and lets the scientists doing the work make the case for where their fields are heading. Interviews with specialists in artificial intelligence, nanotechnology, and biotechnology sit alongside demonstrations of working prototypes rather than concept art, which keeps the speculation tethered to things that already exist in some form. Kaku's own physics background gives him a plausible claim to sort near-term breakthroughs from further-off possibilities, and the series treats both with the same curiosity rather than hype.
