Greg Mallory was an able-bodied skier until an accident left him paralyzed from the waist down. This short film follows how he rebuilt his life around kayaking, using the sport to get out of his wheelchair and back onto open water. The camera stays close to the physical reality of adaptive paddling, the transfers, the balance, the repeated capsizes and recoveries, rather than treating the story as pure inspiration. Mallory speaks plainly about what the accident took from him and what kayaking gave back, framing the river as the one place where his legs stop mattering. It is a small, focused portrait rather than a survey of adaptive sports generally, built around one man's routine and his own account of it. The film ends on the water, with Mallory paddling rather than narrating, letting the footage make its own case for what recovery can look like outside a hospital or a gym.
