Manila holds the record for the world's densest city, packing more than 43,000 people per square kilometer, with 40% of its population living across 500 slums. Host Alexandra Alévêque moves in with a family of ten in a single small house at the heart of one of these settlements, sharing their routines and their tight quarters to understand how twelve million people function in a city with almost no room to spare.
