An MIT OpenCourseWare class covering differential calculus in one and several variables, designed as a one and a half term course for students who have already seen calculus in high school. The self contained format means it can also be followed without prior calculus background. Materials include lecture notes, problem sets with solutions, and exams, working through limits, derivatives, partial derivatives, and their applications to optimization and rates of change in multiple dimensions. The course follows MIT's standard OCW structure of session-by-session readings and assignments rather than video lectures, letting students work through the material at their own pace. No enrollment or certificate is offered, but all course materials are free to download and reuse under MIT's open license.
