Doctoral Seminar in Research Methods II
A doctoral-level introduction to quantitative research methods used in organizational, strategy, and management scholarship. The course covers logit and probit models, count models, event history models, and pooled cross-section techniques, giving students the statistical tools needed to design and critique empirical studies in management research. Offered by MIT's Sloan School of Management through MIT OpenCourseWare, the course provides syllabus materials, readings, and assignments for self-study. It is aimed at PhD students building a methodological foundation for dissertation research, and assumes prior exposure to basic statistics.
