AFNI Training Bootcamp
A hands-on introduction to AFNI, the C, Python, and R software suite used to analyze functional MRI data. Organized by the CBMM Trainee Leadership Council at MIT, the bootcamp targets researchers already collecting fMRI data or about to start, rather than newcomers to neuroimaging concepts. Sessions cover the practical AFNI workflow: loading and viewing anatomical and functional scans, preprocessing steps, statistical analysis, and result display using the suite's command line tools and scripts. Materials are presented as recorded training sessions from the CBMM program, giving viewers a working sense of how AFNI is actually used in a lab setting. The course assumes some prior exposure to fMRI methods and focuses squarely on software mechanics rather than underlying imaging physics or theory.
