Cultural Performances of Asia
MIT OpenCourseWare offers this course on cultural performances across Asia, covering both traditional and contemporary forms in genres such as theater, dance, and ritual. Students examine how performers, media, cultural settings, and audiences shape the meaning of a performance, and how globalization reshapes representations of cultural difference.
