Design Principles for Ocean Vehicles
MIT OpenCourseWare offers this Ocean Engineering course on evaluating the forces and loads that marine structures and vehicles face over their service life. Lectures cover the loads and motions of small and large structures, including their short-term and long-term statistical behavior, with worked applications in class and homework. Seakeeping of ships gets detailed treatment, and the course closes with the basic equations of maneuvering.
