MIT OpenCourseWare offers this advanced electrical engineering course on quasistatic electric and magnetic forms of Maxwell's equations applied to dielectric, conduction, and magnetization boundary value problems. Topics include electromagnetic forces, force densities, and stress tensors involving magnetization and polarization, thermodynamics of electromagnetic fields, equations of motion, and energy conservation. The course applies these principles to synchronous, induction, and commutator machines, sensors and transducers, microelectromechanical systems, propagation and stability of electromechanical waves, and charge transport phenomena. Materials include lecture notes, homework problem sets with solutions, and exam solutions, originally transcribed into LaTeX. There is no video lecture series noted, but the full set of problem sets and worked solutions makes this a complete graduate-level curriculum for anyone with a solid electromagnetics background. Free to access under MIT's open license, with no certificate offered.
